Function formatAssetAmount

    • formatAssetAmount(amount: AssetAmount, decimals?: number): string

      Formats a AssetAmount to a human-readable string

      Parameters

      • amount: AssetAmount

        The asset amount in smallest units

      • decimals: number = 6

        The number of decimal places (default: 6 for KLV)

      Returns string

      A formatted string representation

      Example

      formatAssetAmount(createAssetAmount(1000000n)) // '1'
      formatAssetAmount(createAssetAmount(1500000n)) // '1.5'
      formatAssetAmount(createAssetAmount(1234567n)) // '1.234567'
